Gold Run Creek
Bill Bartholomae and his crew traveled to Nome, Alaska to search for gold nuggets. Reliving the Gold Rush days of the 1900s. We traveled to an
incredibly beautiful and rugged part of Alaska. In Nome we load up our 4x4 pickup with supplies and drive to Gold Run Creek. We prospected in an
area where the early prospectors lived and searched for gold. When we get tired of caned food we can try our luck at fishing. In the northern
latitudes in July, it is light all the time. With 24 hours of daylight we can see a lot of wilderness and still have time to search for nuggets.
We will be prospecting for gold at the historical site of Sullivan Camp on the Gold Run Creek north of Nome. The picture is Gold Run Camp, North
of Nome Alaska.
